We are all very proud of our record at Local 84807. We are a union that has always encouraged members to get involved: attend meetings, join committees, vote on contracts, participate in workplace actions, and speak out on workplace issues.

A union is its members. The more members participate, the stronger we will be and the more we will be able to accomplish in bargaining, and implement improvements in our workplace. Do not hesitate to contact your steward if you have a question or concern. Please remember that all executive board members and all stewards are volunteer (unpaid) union representatives and are doing the best that they possibly can.

The monthly union meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month. Members must login to see exact dates, times and locations of meetings. Please come and bring a fellow member!

THERE WILL BE A FAMILY DAY AT THE BLACKISTON MILL BOWL IN CLARKSVILLE ON JUNE 19,2010 FROM 11:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M

THE FAMILY DAY AT THE BLACKISTON BOWLING ALLEY WAS ENJOYED BY THE MEMBERS WHO CAME OUT TO ENJOY A FEW BOWLING GAMES WITH THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS, IT TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY GOOD DAY. ALTHOUGH, THERE WEREN.T MANY MEMBERS THAT ATTENDED, DUE TO THE HEAT AND SOME THAT WORKED THAT DAY, WE STILL HAVE A GOOD TIME, MAYBE NEXT YEAR!

The Cornhole tournament is scheduled for August 14th, 2010, it will be held at the Perrin Family Park, in Jeffersonville. From 11:00 a.m. til 4:00 p.m bring your family they are sure to have fun.

All who are interested in participating in the tournament, please bring your CornHole set and sign-up. Please sign the sign-up sheet in the breakroom.

The Perrin Family Park event is a Joint Event with TMSi and IUE/CWA, All are welcome.For more information contact your Union executives or the Company Ops Manager. There will be events that will allow us all a chance to have fun and relax. Bring in the family and enjoy.

This event is also a fundraiser for the people who are in need of food. We hope to raise funds by DUNKING Members of both the Company and Union executives. There will be a fee to DUNK So Bring some cash for a good cause.
